About Us

Compass Fleet & Merchant Services (CFMS) was established in 1998 by two sales reps, Adrienne (Bachman) Andre and Sloane Bouchever. Adrienne was just getting started in the payment industry working for American Bankcard in Portland Oregon. Within six months she partnered with Universal Savings Bank (USB) out of Milwaukee Wisconsin and started her first Independent Sales Organization (ISO).  Sloane Bouchever was living in Arizona and working for Discover. Adrienne and Sloane initially met over the phone through a mutual business associate who was acting as an electronic payment consultant to Wright Express.  Adrienne and Sloane shared the same vision of operating an ISO targeting the carwash/automotive industry providing service merchants a fair shake on their credit card fees and education on the downside of expensive equipment leases.  Several months later, they met in person over a cup of coffee.  Still passionate about the opportunity of providing a solid merchant service company that would be around after the ink dried on the contract, "Compass Fleet Services" was conceived and a few months later off to the races. Sloane was presented the opportunity to work for Authorizenet and later went on to start a successful internet on line merchant service company and Adrienne continued to grow CFMS. CFMS is the acquisition team for, "Wright Express" and CFMS has been endorsed by the International, Southeastern, Southwestern, Midwest, Western, New England, Ohio Carwash Associations, and Novus Glass Franchises.
